Geraniums are a very common plant to see in gardens now days and chances are most of them are overgrown and have become scraggly from many years of searching or competing for sunlight as most were probably planted near trees that were much smaller then they used to be and now that tree has grown and shaded the geranium, but fear not as geraniums are one of the best and easy plants to have in the garden........ and veggie garden?...... yes the veggie garden.

Yes Geranium are a great companion plant to have in your veggie garden the in fact they will help keep many different bugs/ pests off your crop so you will increase your yield just by having these guys looking over you veggies. As another advantage of Geraniums are they can be propagated with a lot of ease as most geranium cuttings with strike in moist sterile potting soil in a protected area out of direct sunlight, preferable filtered light. which will mean replacing of old geraniums will be just as easy and will give a smaller compact look with plenty of colour. Geraniums also come in many colour options for example white, purple, pink, orange, red and Variety of types that each have their own specific applications for example Upright and trailing ivy's. Thanks for reading and have fun in the garden.
