The Hebe an evergreen shrub of the foxglove family made up of 100 species with most native to New Zealand. Hebe's grow in many places from alpine regions to coastal areas and come in many variety's from shrubs, trees, compact and sprawling and many people grow them because of their beautiful abundant flowers.

Hebe Have a light to dark green foliage which are either big oval shaped leaves or little compressed leaves, Hebe's come in a different colours which range from white, pink, deep purple and crimson. Depending on what the climate you in is like, the Hebe can flower year round peaking in spring time, they prefer a nice sunny spot and in well draining soil. Pruning is mostly deadheading to keep a nice sized bush and to clean up and old branches. Thanks for reading and have fun in the garden.
